Fyra nagelfavoriter 2017

Under 2017 hade jag fyra favoriter vad det gäller naglar. Två gamla favoriter som hänger kvar och två nykomlingar. Låt oss se vilka de var.

Depend Glitter Base Coat är fortfarande en favorit hos mig. Det är det bästa underlacket för glitterlack. Hållbarheten är inte lika bra som med vanliga underlack men bättre än den är med t.ex. motsvarande underlack från OPI och IsaDora. Perfekt när jag ska swatcha glitterlack för att fotografera. Dessutom är det billigt.

En annan gammal favorit från Depend som håller fortfarande är Dip-in remover för torra och flisiga naglar. Det går inte lika snabbt och enkelt att ta bort lacket med den här som med den snabba men min nagelkvalitet håller sig mycket bättre när jag använder den här. Har gjort av med x antal burkar av den här i år.

En ny favorit är Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish och top coat. Grym hållbarhet, trevlig formula, bra pensel och fin glans. Sen jag fick hem de här har jag enbart använt det här överlacket. Mina gamla favoriter Glisten & Glow HK Girl och CND Weekly Top Coat har fått stå åt sidan ett tag.

2017 var året då jag på alvar började leka med Chrome naglar. Det började med Lachrome från L.Y.X Cosmetics. Sedan släppte IsaDora Chrome Nails som är krompulver som fungerar på vanligt nagellack men du måste använda ett vattenbaserat överlack. Sedan testade jag Whats up Nails krompulver som precis som IsaDoras kan användas ovanpå vilket vanligt nagellack som helst men du måste använda ett vattenbaserat överlack.

Kromnaglar blev en favorit hos mig under 2017 och favoritpulvret kommer från Whats up nails. De har flera olika multikroma pulver att välja mellan och du använder dem på vanligt nagellack. Otroligt enkelt! Men du behöver som sagt ett vattenbaserat överlack och favoriten kommer från LACQUA (L.Y.X Cosmetics). Är du ute efter lång hållbarhet är LACHROME bättre men det är lite mer jobb med det. IsaDoras har fördelen att det är lätt att få tag på men det finns bara ett pulver och hållbarheten är inte den bästa. Köper du IsaDoras rekommenderar jag att skippa deras vattenbaserade överlack och istället köpa LACQUA.

During 2017, I had four nail product favorites. Two old favorites and two newcomers. Let’s see who they where.

Depend Glitter Base Coat is a old favorite that still qualifies on my favorite list. It’s the best base coat for glitter polishes that I’ve tried. The polish wears of faster with this than it would with a normal base coat since this is a peel off base coat but the polish doesn’t wear off as fast as when you use for example this kind of base coat from OPI or IsaDora. This is the perfect base coat when I’m swatching glitter polishes.

Another old favorite from Depend that’s still one of my favorites is the Dip-in Remover for dry and chipped nails. It doesn’t remove polishes as fast and easy as their fast remover, but my nail quality stays much better when I use this one. I have used up a lot of these during the year.

A new favorite is Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish and top coat. The polish doesn’t wear off that fast, the formula is nice and glossy and the brush is good. Since I got these I have only used this top coat. My old favorites Glisten & Glow HK Girl and CND Weekly Top Coat have had to stand aside for a while.

2017 was the year when I started playing around with Chrome nails for real. It started with LACHROME from L.Y.X Cosmetics. Then IsaDora released their Chrome Nails, which is a chrome powder that works on a regular nail polish, but you have to use a water-based top coat. Then I tried Whats up Nail’s Chrome powder. Just like IsaDoras this powder can be used on top of any standard nail polish but you have to use a water-based top coat with it.

Chrome nails became a favorite for me in 2017 and the favorite powder comes from Whats up nails. They have several different multichromic powders to choose from and you can use them on any regular nail polish. Unbelievably easy! However, you need a water-based top coat and the favorite water-based top coat comes from LACQUA (L.Y.X Cosmetics). If you’re looking for long lasting manicure, LACHROME is better, but it’s a bit more work. IsaDoras has the advantage that it is easy to get a hold of here in Sweden but they only have one powder and durability is not the best. If you do buy IsaDoras chrome powder, I recommend skipping their water-based top coat and buy the LACQUA top coat instead.
