Bland annat sprang jag på Elin Fagerberg och Annica (Dare to be you).

Last week (Tuesday-Thursday) it was time for this year’s Stockholm Beauty Week. Just like last year, it was held at Konstnärshuset here in Stockholm and you could meet the  exhibitors, do skincare treatments and listen to seminars.

I only had the opportunity to visit for a little while one of the days, but it’s enough if you’re not going to be having any skincare treatments or attend any of the seminars, which I didn’t have time for this year. I was there the first day and unfortunately it was extremely hot that day. I was sweating like a pig (does pig sweat? I should know that since I grow up on a farm…)

For a few hours, they held open for press and bloggers only and then there were very many people in place. When the exhibitors were to be presented it was so much people that there wasn’t room for everyone in the room. The presentation also took quite a long time and didn’t give that much as there was so little time for the speakers that they didn’t have time to say that much. Then there was supposed to bags with products from the companies for everyone there so we would have a chance to try the product that was presented but they run out of bags with product samples. Stockholm Beauty Week was of to a rather messy beginning this year.

A lot of the brands and products during Stockholm Beauty Week are ”natural brands” with ”natural products” and a mantra that I heard many, many times during the day was that the products was ”free from parabens”. Although Stockholm Beauty Week started a little messy, it was fun to walk around and talk to all the exhibitors. It’s also always fun to get the chance to meet journalists and blog colleagues that you haven’t seen in a while.

A fun thing with Stockholm Beauty Week is that it’s also open to the public so anyone can visit. They also usually holds open until later on in the day so that you could actually make a visit after your working day (at least if you leave work a little early depending on how long your working days are).
