Nailmatic KIDS

Förra veckan var jag på en lunch med Mildh Press och big small company på Urban Deli. Där fick jag bland annat chansen att titta närmare på Nailmatic KIDS.
Den här presslunchen med Mildh Press och big small company riktade sig väl kanske till en liten annan målgrupp. Det var ingen jag kände där och spontant skulle jag säga att det mest var mammabloggare där. Jag har, som ni kanske redan gissat, inga barn. Lunchen var ändå trevlig med god mat.
En av produkterna som presenterades under lunchen var Nailmatic KIDS vattenbaserade nagellack. Nagellacken är fria från formaldehyd. toulene, ftalater och parfym. Lacken tvättas bort med tvål och vatten (eller bara vatten för den delen…) så någon nagellacksremover behövs inte.
Nailmatic KIDS har ok formula och är otroligt täckande. De räcker med 1-2 lager för full täckning. De torkar ganska snabbt vilket jag tänker är bra eftersom de riktar sig till barn som inte brukar vara jätteförtjusta i att sitta still någon längre stund.
Det står att lacket kan tvättas bort med tvål och vatten eller i badet. Jag kan säga att någon tvål inte behövdes, det räcker att sätta händerna i ljummet vatten så lossnar lacket som ni kan se ovan.
Nailmatick KIDS kommer i gulliga kartonger som dubbelarbetar som målarbok och lacken har söta ansikten med olika miner beroende på vilken sida av flaskan som du tittar.
Priset för dessa kan jag tycka är lite dyrt för nagellack som är tänkta för barn och som jag misstänker kanske inte kommer att räcka så länge då barn skulle 1. kunna råka spilla ut lacken och 2. de tvättas bort när du kommer i kontakt med vatten, dvs de saknar helt hållbarhet. Stort plus för att de inte behövs någon remover för att ta bort lacken dock när de är tänka till barn. Att det går att tvätta bort med tvål och vatten gör också att det blir lättare att tvätta bort vid eventuellt spill. Men som sagt jag kan spontant tycka att priset är lite högt.
Ett lack kostar 84 kr (finns 11 färger).
Ett 3-pack kostar 215 kr (finns fyra att välja mellan).
Ett 7-pack kostar 420 kr (finns två att välja mellan).
Jag kan tänka mig att dessa kan bli en hit på barnkalaset där man kan leka nagelsalong.

Vad tycker ni om nagellack till barn?
Last week I attended a press lunch with Mildh Press and big small company at Urban Deli. There I got the chance to look closer at some products. Amongst them Nailmatic KIDS.
This press lunch with Mildh Press and big small company was actually targeting a different crowed then the press events I usually attend. There weren’t anyone I knew there and my guess is that most of the other women there where mommy bloggers. I, as you might have guessed by now, don’t have any kids. It was still a nice lunch with good food.
One of the products that was presented to us at the lunch was Nailmatic KIDS water based nail polish. The nail polish are free from formaldehyde. toluene, phthalates and perfume. The nail polishes are removed with just water and soap (or only water for that matter…) so no nail polish remover is needed.
Nailmatic KIDS actually has an ok formula to work with and covers nicely in just one to two coats. They dry quite fast and I assume that is good since they are for kids and they usually don’t like to be still for too long.
The information say that they can be removed with soap and water or in the bath tub during a bath. I can say that absolutely no soap is needed. Just put the hands in lukewarm water and the nail polish will come off as you can see in the photos above.
Nailmatick KIDS comes in these adorable boxes that also works as small colouring books, the nail polish has cute faces on them with different feeling showing depending on which side of the bottle you look at.
I think the price is a bit heavy considering that these are suppose to be for kids and I think they might not last that long. The reasons for that are that kids could easily 1. spill out the bottle and 2. they washes of the second you come in contact with water. It’s a plus that you don’t need a remover since they are for kids. That also makes it easy to wash of if they spill on floor or furniture. It also means that they are far from long lasting and the price is as I mentioned a bit high in my opinion.
The polishes are sold separately or in packs of three or seven polishes.
I think these could be a hit at a birthday party where the kids can play nail salon.
If you have a little boy or a girl that wants just as beautiful nails as mommy (or daddy) then these might be a safe choice.
