Layering med N.C.P på Daisy Beauty Expo 2020

N.C.P var på plats på årets Daisy Beauty Expo. N.C.P, Now Collective Products, erbjuder parfymer innehållandes dofter från alla olfaktiva familjer med egenskaper som gör dem perfekta att kombinera med varandra. Med andra ord, de är perfekta för layering. På helgens Expo fick vi välja två dofter att kombinera.
N.C.P är skapat av bland annat Noomi Rapace och Steve Terry. Dofterna är sammansatta på parfymhuset Givaudan i Paris av deras Head Perfumer Yann Vasnier och innehåller 12 % parfym. Med andra ord ska de vara perfekta för layering då 12 % ska vara den optimala procentsatsen för det.
Jag har varit nyfiken på att testa märkets parfymer sedan jag först hörde talas om dem 2017. Märket började med sju dofter. Nu har man utökat sortimentet och har även börjat med hudvård. Men idag ska vi prata dofter.
Tillsammans täcker de sju parfymerna hela spektrat av dofter, så väl lättare och tyngre. Detta gestaltas tydligt av de grafiska streckens intensitet på 50 ml-flaskorna. Ju mer mörka streck desto tyngre doft. Pedagogiskt och bra.

201 Apple & Driftwood
301 Jasmine & Sandalwood
401 Lavender & Juniper
501 Iris & Vanilla
601 Amber & Gaiac Wood
701 Leather & Vetiver.
Jag valde lätta fruktiga 201 Apple & Driftwood med Äpple som toppnot. I hjärtnoten hittas Jasmin & vita blommor och i basnoten mysk och örter. Sedan valde jag den lite tyngre träiga 601 Amber & Gaiac Wood som öppnar med en toppnot av cederträ följt av ett hjärta av gaiacträ och sandelträ. Ambra och vanilj hittar du i basnoten. Båda två är härliga som de är men tillsammans är resultat helt underbart.
Vill man testa N.C.P:s dofter går det att köpa en ask med 7 x 10 ml där du får möjlighet att testa alla sju dofterna. På så vis får du möjlighet att experimentera och se vilka kombinationer du gillar bäst.

A company that makes perfume was present at this year’s Daisy Beauty Expo. The company offers perfumes containing fragrances from all olfactory families with properties that make them perfect to combine with each other. In other words they are perfect for layering. At the Expo we got to choose two scents to combine.
The brand, N.C.P, is created by the Swedish actress Noomi Rapace and hairdresser/entrepreneur Steve Terry. The scents are composed at the perfume house Givaudan in Paris by their Head Perfumer Yann Vasnier. And they contain 12% perfume, which apparently is the optimal percentage for layering.
I have been curious to try the brand’s perfumes since I first heard about them in 2017. The brand started with seven scents and has now expanded the product range with skin care products as well but today we will talk about their scents.
Together, the seven perfumes cover the full spectrum of scents, both lighter and heavier, which is exemplified by the intensity of the graphic lines on the 50 ml bottles. So the darker the strokes, the heavier the scent. Very informative in all its simplicity.

101 Clementine & Violet Flower
201 Apple & Driftwood
301 Jasmine & Sandalwood
401 Lavender & Juniper
501 Iris & Vanilla
601 Amber & Gaiac Wood
701 Leather & Vetiver.
I chose the light fruity 201 Apple & Driftwood with Apple as top note, Jasmine & white flowers in heart note and musk & herbs in the base note. Then I chose the slightly heavier woody 601 Amber & Gaiac Wood which opens with a top note of cedar. After that, a heart of gaiac and sandalwood. In the base note you’ll find amber and vanilla. In conclusion, both are lovely but together they are absolutely wonderful.
If you want to try N.C.P’s scents, you can buy a box of 7 x 10 ml where you get the opportunity to try all seven scents and can experiment and see which combinations you like best.
